Childhood Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programme – Claiming Service 2026-27
Purpose and outline
This service supports the NHS Childhood Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programme: 2-3 year olds and at-Risk Children 26/27. The service enables automated data extraction and payment claims for vaccinations administered to eligible patients either by the practice or another practice within the PCN under the Network Contract DES.
Practices wishing to take part in the Childhood Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programme must also sign up to the Enhanced Service Participation Service within CQRS. Practices not taking part are encouraged to register for this Claiming Service to claim payment when another PCN practice vaccinates their registered patients.
An item of service (IoS) fee of £10.06 will be paid per dose administered to each eligible registered patient using a recommended vaccine. The service applies to eligible children aged six months to under 18 years in a clinical at risk group and to all 2-3 year olds with eligibility aligned to national policy, Green Book and the Flu Letter for 26/27.
