Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programme for Adults – Claiming Service 2026-27
Purpose and outline
This service supports the NHS Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programme for Adults 2026/27 and enables accurate payment, assurance and monitoring through automated data extraction. The service enables payment claims for vaccinations administered either by the practice to eligible patients, or by another practice within the PCN to eligible registered patients under the Network Contract DES.
Practices wishing to take part in the programme must also sign up to the Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programme for Adults – Enhanced Service Participation Service within CQRS. Practices not taking part are strongly encouraged to register for this Claiming Service to claim payment where another PCN practice vaccinates their registered patients.
An item of service (IoS) fee of £10.06 will be paid per dose administered to each eligible registered patient using a recommended vaccine, as set out in the annual Flu Letter.
The service applies to eligible adults aged 18 years and over.
