Childhood Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programme – Enhanced Service Participation Service 2026-2027

Purpose and outline

This service supports the delivery of the NHS Childhood Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programme: 2-3 year olds and at-Risk Children. Practices signing up to this service are confirming participation and individual responsibility for delivery of the service requirements for the Childhood Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programme: 2-3 year olds and at-Risk Children 2026/27.

In order to claim payment and receive automated data extractions, practices must also sign up to the Childhood Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programme: 2-3 year olds and at-Risk Children – Claiming Service, once it is made available within CQRS. The service applies to eligible children aged six months to under 18 years, who are in a clinical at risk group, and to all 2 and 3 year olds, with patient eligibility aligned to national policy, the Green Book and the annual Flu Letter for 2026/27.
