Reminder NCD 25/26 August 5th Payment Approval Deadline
To support payment by 31 August 2026 for the Network Contract DES (NCD) 25/26 service, Commissioner approvals must be completed by the deadline as per the NCD specification.
Commissioner approval required by: Wednesday, 5th August
Expected payment date 2026: Thursday, 20th August
PCSE payment dates will be made alongside other Primary Care Network (PCN) payments on or around the 20th of the month. Commissioners are reminded to account for the time required for the processing of data within PCSE online and banking timescales after approvals have been made. Read more about PCN payments.
Action required for 20th August payment date
To facilitate a 20th August payment date, please ensure the following actions are completed by Wednesday, 5th August 2026:
- Commissioners are to advise PCNs to review and declare their final calculated Achievement value. Further guidance on “declaring an indicator within a service” is available via the link below.
Note: Before declaring achievement, it is recommended that the Achievement Summary report is run to confirm that the Contractor Registered Population (CRP) and the total Achievement value are accurate.
- Following service provider approval of the achievement data, Commissioners are required to declare the achievement.
- Once all declarations have been completed, Commissioners are required to financially approve the final Achievement value to enable payment to be processed by PCSE (payment agency).
Please ensure that all NCD 25/26 Achievement values are final and accurate before completing the financial approval. Once financially approved, submission cannot be amended within CQRS National. Any subsequent corrections will need to be managed manually outside of the system.
