VI001, VI002 and VI003 Base Year Data Now Available
The following data required for the VI001, VI002 and VI003 indicators is now available in CQRS National:
- Base Year Numerator
- Base Year Denominator
Reporting achievement calculations will now proceed as normal.
How the Base Year Values are Calculated
The Base Year Numerator and Base Year Denominator have been calculated using the following formula:
Average = (Sum of yearly QOF VI values as of financial year end) ÷ (Number of QOF financial years with available data)
Example
- QOF2425 VI001 Numerator = 10
- QOF2526 VI001 Numerator = 20
VI001 Base Year Numerator Average
(10 + 20) ÷ (1 + 1) = 30 ÷ 2 = 15
What This Means for Practices

Manual entry is only required if:
- Your practice is new, or
- Your practice has merged.
