How to Clear Your Cache by Browser

Google Chrome (Desktop)

  1. Open Chrome: Launch the Chrome browser.
  2. Access Settings:
    • Click the three dots (⁝) in the top-right corner.
    • Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
  3. Open Privacy and Security:
    • Scroll down and click Privacy and security.
    • Select Clear browsing data.
  4. Choose Time Range:
    • In the popup, select All time from the dropdown.
  5. Select Cache:
    • Ensure the Cached images and files checkbox is ticked.
    • Optionally, check Browsing history or Cookies and other site data if needed.
  6. Clear Data:
    • Click Clear data.

Safari (Mac)

  1. Open Safari: Launch Safari on your Mac.
  2. Access Preferences:
    • Click Safari in the top-left corner of the screen.
    • Select Preferences.
  3. Enable the Develop Menu (if not already visible):
    • Go to the Advanced tab.
    • Check the box for Show Develop menu in menu bar.
  4. Clear Cache:
    • In the menu bar, click Develop > Empty Caches.

Microsoft Edge (Desktop)

  1. Open Edge: Launch the Edge browser.
  2. Access Settings:
    • Click the three dots (⁝) in the top-right corner.
    • Select Settings.
  3. Open Privacy, Search, and Services:
    • Click Privacy, search, and services in the left-hand menu.
  4. Clear Browsing Data:
    • Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.
  5. Select Cache:
    • Select Cached images and files.
    • Choose All time for the time range.
  6. Clear Data:
    • Click Clear now.

Mozilla Firefox (Desktop)

  1. Open Firefox: Launch the Firefox browser.
  2. Access Settings:
    • Click the menu icon (≡) in the top-right corner.
    • Select Settings.
  3. Navigate to Privacy & Security:
    • Scroll down to the Cookies and Site Data section.
  4. Clear Data:
    • Click Clear Data.
    • Ensure Cached Web Content is selected and click Clear.

Android (Chrome Browser)

  1. Open Chrome: Launch the Chrome app.
  2. Open Settings:
    • Tap the three dots (⁝) in the top-right corner.
    • Select Settings.
  3. Clear Browsing Data:
    • Tap Privacy and security > Clear browsing data.
  4. Select Cache:
    • Ensure Cached images and files is selected.
  5. Clear Data:
    • Tap Clear data.

iPhone/iPad (Safari)

  1. Open Settings: Go to your device’s Settings app.
  2. Select Safari:
    • Scroll down and tap Safari.
  3. Clear History and Website Data:
    • Tap Clear History and Website Data.
    • Confirm by tapping Clear.
    • Note: This will delete your browsing history and cached data.
